My life is like a mosaic

My life is like a mosaic.

You know those works of art where there is a big picture, made up of lots of little pictures? That’s me.

Yesterday on social media I shared an image of something I’d done in my bullet journal and I thought to myself, ‘The stuff I share must seem so random and disjointed to others’. And in a way it is. I don’t have all the answers to who I am and what my business is, or who I want to be and what I want my business to be.

But I’m just being me and writing what I feel, sharing what I love.

Not having clarity has stopped me from sharing anything at all for far too long. I’m not going to get clarity by sitting back and waiting for it.

So this is my era of experimentation.

It’s the time where I focus on the many small pictures and allow the bigger picture to form, just like a mosaic.

And I’m sharing these thoughts because I know there are others out there who feel the same way. Who are paralysed because they don’t know where it is all leading.

It’s bloody hard.

But please, give yourself permission to do the little things, or take this as me giving you permission. Even if they feel meaningless, or as though they don’t all fit together, or as if there are pieces of the puzzle missing.

It’s OK to be made up of lots of small pieces instead of fewer big pieces—we are all different!

Anyone else feel like they are a mishmash of things?! 😂
