Hey, I’m Karen. I’m a small business owner who helps other business owners, creatives, and entrepreneurs navigate the necessary admin and get to the work they love doing.

I started my business 7 years ago as a side hustle while in full-time employment. I was so excited to start my business and already had two big clients on the books.

But then I got caught up learning all the things I had to do to be compliant. It took time away from doing my work. And I was still working full-time, so I didn’t have a lot of time to give!

Eventually I worked my way through it, but I didn’t want anyone else to have to go through that pain. So I made it my mission to develop resources that I wish I’d had when I started out. I combined things I spent time learning in the beginning, with what I’ve learnt along the way. I’ve also studied entrepreneurship and business and incorporate all this into the resources that I provide, so that you don’t have to go to loads of different websites, books and courses to find answers.

Will this suit my business?

The Toolkit is designed to help all types of small businesses: Sole Traders, Partnerships, Trusts, and Private Companies. Is this right for me if I don’t have anything to sell yet?

Absolutely. Getting the basics sorted out and learning how to market your products/services will have your customers begging to buy once you launch.

How long do I have access to the materials for?

You have access to all the materials as long as you remain a member.

How do I access everything?

After joining, you’ll receive a welcome email with login details for the Small Business Toolkit online portal. Inside you’ll find all the resources. Some are downloadable documents (such as spreadsheets), some are links to other (free) platforms (such as Canva) where you can access the content, and others will be embedded videos that you can view in your web browser.

How do I use the templates?

Each template is designed to be user-friendly and comes with simple instructions so that you can get the most out of it without having to learn all about the software first!

Can I sell the templates/products or give them away?

No. Each digital product is for your own use only and is copyright protected. You can use the templates in your business, and to develop your own content. Some types of content can be used by you to post to your online platforms, but you may not on sell the templates or content. Giving away or selling my products is not allowed and may result in a license fee being imposed on the member.

What if I want a digital product that’s not in the Toolkit?

You can suggest digital products for future inclusion in the Toolkit via the Facebook group. I also create custom digital products and Small Business Toolkit members are entitled to a 20% discount!

Why is the Small Business Toolkit so cheap?

Because I know that when you are starting out, or if you are a solopreneur, you can’t necessarily afford expensive memberships and courses. My aim is to help a large number of people and the best way to do this is by keeping the price low.

I already have so much on my plate.

I get it. That’s why I give you information and templates in digestible amounts, drip-fed through the month so that it’s not overwhelming. My aim is to give you time back, by allowing you to speed through the stuff you HAVE to do, in order to get on with the stuff you WANT to do.
